The Fort Myers Beach Shrimp Festival pageant, run for 60+ years & a project of the Ft. Myers Beach Lions Club, features contestants 15-20 years old who want to become this year’s Shrimp Festival Queen.
Contestants must be able to appear at all the events for judging and in the Festival Parade and at the Shrimp Festival on the second weekend of March. The great history of this event has many former participants returning to and involved in the event today.
Each contestant receives a special gift bag & 25-hours of community service. Trophies and/or prizes will be awarded to the winner of each of the following categories:
• Queen •
• First runner-up •
• Second runner-up •
• Miss Personality •
• Miss People’s Choice (voted on via donations from the public) •
• Miss Congeniality (voted on by participants) •
• Miss Photogenic (judged on official photos) •
All participants are already winners by helping the Ft. Myers Beach Lions Club and our local sight, scholarship & other community projects with their participation.
