Shrimp Festival & COVID
The 62nd Annual Fort Myers Beach Lion Club Shrimp Festival WILL TAKE PLACE on March 12th & 13th. The Fort Myers Beach Lions are taking all recommended actions to ensure the safety of event attendees.
What we are doing:
- We have arranged for extra hand washing stations to be placed around the festival grounds inside Lynn Hall Memorial park. These self-contained, portable sinks accommodate high volume usage and will be monitored throughout the weekend to ensure they are fully stocked. With dual faucets and paper towel dispensers, these hand washing stations allow multiple guests to wash their hands simultaneously. They feature hands-free foot operation, to ensure protection from harmful bacteria to keep Shrimp Festival attendees germ-free.
- We have secured hand sanitizer and protective gloves for use in our booths
- We are set up with card readers for payments and will encourage the use of contactless payment sources. We will still be accepting cash payments as an alternative but encourage the use of the contactless methods for those who are able.
