Princess Maggie, Miss Fort Myers Detail Center

Maggie MacDiarmid is a senior at Fort Myers High School. Having grown up in the area and with her brother and sister-in-law living on the beach, Fort Myers Beach has always been a special place for her—a beloved escape on her free days. Despite the challenges the beach community has faced in recent years, she admires its strength and resilience.

By participating in the FMB Lions Club Shrimp Festival Pageant and continuing this cherished tradition, Maggie hopes to help restore a sense of normalcy while spreading positivity and bringing the community closer together. In the fall, she will be majoring in political science, though she has yet to decide on a university.

Maggie’s passions include reading, writing, shopping, and staying informed on current events and the political climate. With dreams of attending law school and pursuing a career as a lobbyist in Washington, D.C., she is dedicated to making an impact in the political sphere.
