Joel Martinez, age 30, lives in Cape Coral with his beautiful wife. Joel is a Firefighter/ Paramedic for the Fort Myers Beach Fire Department and is here to light up the competition with his reigning Shrimp Eating Contest wins from the last two years, the most recent with 2.6lbs in 8min!! He was born and raised in California and enjoys competing in just about anything! Joel is sponsored by our local Firefighters Union.
