Vendor Rules

  1. Festival Hours
    1. Our event permit states the Shrimp Festival will take place from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday, March 9th, and 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM on Sunday, March 10th.
    2. Remember to account for Day Light Savings Time taking place on Sunday, March 10th.
  2. Vendor Spaces:
    1. All vendor spaces have 10’ frontage and are 16’ deep.
    2. Vendor pricing varies by type of vendor. See ‘Vendor Payments’ section below for details.
  3. Vendor Requirements & Restrictions:
    1. Vendors must provide pictures of their craft items and list all items sold with their application in order to be considered for inclusion at the event.
    2. Each vendor is responsible for collecting and paying the Florida Sales Tax. The Fort Myers Beach Lions Foundation pays only the tax on the entry fee paid by vendors.
    3. All vendor equipment must be stationed within their designated space.
    4. All vendors must supply their own tents, tables, chairs and racks.
    5. Vendors are not allowed to put displays or any other items in front of their space.
    6. No T-shirts, Hats or Visors can be sold with any reference to Shrimp Festival.
      1. The Lions Club sells the only official Shrimp Festival Shirts and Hats as a fundraiser.
    7. Bottled water is only to be sold by the Lions club or their designee.
    8. Food Vendors
      1. There are no food vendors this year. All shrimp sales will be at area restaurants participating in the official Shrimp Crawl. Click here for Shrimp Crawl details.
  4. Vendor Fees:
    1. You may not submit payment until you have received notice that your application has been approved via email to the address submitted with application ONLY.
    2. Payment options will be supplied with notice of your approval via email. Once you have received the approval email, you will be able to click on a link to pay online or to write and mail a check to the address provided in the approval email.
    3. Full payment is due by Feb. 15, 2024. 
    4. Vendor spaces are $300 per 10’ x 16’ site requested
    5. There will be no electricity available this year. You may have battery operated devices.
  5. Vendor Setup:
    1. Friday night (March 8) set up is available between 5:00 PM and 11:00 PM
    2. All exhibits and vendors MUST be set up Saturday morning by 8:30 AM.
      1. The bridge to the Beach will close at 9:00 AM for the Shrimp Festival Parade and 5K Run. Traffic will be backed up by 7:30 AM!!
      2. All exhibits will remain up and running and will not be taken down until the end of the Festival Expo on Sunday, March 10th at 5 PM. Nighttime security will be provided on both the Friday & Saturday nights from 7pm to 7am. FMB Lions personnel will be around starting at 6am on both Saturday & Sunday mornings.
  6. Vendor Break-Down:
    1. Please clean your area after the show on Sunday. This includes, but not limited to: boxes, nylon ties, and wrapping material. The park does not provide trash removal service. 
    2. All vendors and their vehicles must be out of the park by 10PM, Sunday, March 10, 2024.
  7. The Fort Myers Beach Lions Foundation does not guarantee a vendor a space and reserves the right not to allocate a space to any vendor applicant, even those that have attended this Expo event in the past.
  8. The Fort Myers Beach Lions reserve the right to decide on all disputes and they will have the final decision with regards to any issues a vendor may have with any aspect of the Shrimp Festival.
