Watch the Parade
Can’t join us for the live event? Stuck at home or up north? Click HERE to Watch the Parade LIVE on the 2nd Saturday in March!
This 2 mile long parade runs down the main street of town (Estero Blvd) from the Beach School to Lynn Hall Memorial Park (Festival Grounds) at the foot of the pier on the beach.
The Matanzas bridge closes at 9am so arrive early!
Organizations, businesses, clubs, families and individuals participate each year in Ft. Myers Beach’s biggest parade and celebration. The Annual Shrimp Festival Parade is held on the second Saturday in March at 10 AM. Beginning on Estero Blvd (just south of the Beach Library) and ending at the Matanzas Bridge overpass, this parade is one of the oldest parades running the same route for 60 years. The Fort Myers Beach Lions Club is extending this invitation to participate in the event or be a spectator. This year is scheduled to include floats, fun and more! Over the decades this parade has grown to be the beach’s largest parade! Join the salute to our Beach Shrimping Fleet and its History.
