Meet the Queen

Queen Emma is 21 years old and is very excited to be a part of the shrimp pageant and festival this year as the 2024 queen! She’s been attending the Shrimp Festival with her family for 13 years and enjoys being a part of it every year. She recently got married and loves to spend time with her husband. She also enjoys hanging out with her family and friends, traveling and going to the beach. She currently works with her family company The Property Medic and runs the office, she is also a licensed cosmetologist and hopes to one day run her own local salon with her sister.

On the Saturday of the event at 1pm there is an old fashioned queens pageant with scholarships and trophies awarded to local princesses, ages 15-20, at Shrimp Festival grounds in front of Bayside Park. This event is free to the public who is encouraged to watch the crowning of the annual Shrimp Festival Shrimp Queen! Click HERE for more information!
